Google said Thursday that it will provide users of its search engine with more information about why they find results that appear to them.
She added that those searching for queries on Google will now be able to click to see details such as “how well the results match” with the specific words used in the search, in order to better judge the relevance of the information to the topic of the search, according to “Reuters”.
Google is working on changes to allow more consistency in the search results its engine provides, and earlier this year it introduced boxes informing users of the sources of information they see.
The Alphabet-owned company has also begun warning users that a topic is developing rapidly and search results are unreliable.
Earlier this month, the American company launched a new feature related to the privacy of its users, which allows deleting the last 15 minutes of search history on the smartphone.
The feature to delete the last 15 minutes of search history is currently available in the “Google” application on “iPhone” phones, and it is scheduled to be launched on “Android” phones later this year.
