“The last YouTube bill was 15 thousand dollars”… This was confirmed by Omar Kamal, the Egyptian folk singer.

According to what Kamal said in his meeting with the media, Amr Adib, “YouTube pays money on a monthly basis, but I can take it after two months and there is no need, and this is normal when the song exceeds 100 million views.”

The popular singer indicated that some of his songs do not get anything from them, explaining that putting them on YouTube channels other than his channel makes them not his own and do not achieve views, and therefore YouTube cannot hold him accountable for them.

Kamal pointed out that concerts are his main source of income, stressing that he always depends on them.

And about the reason for his approach to festival songs, Kamal said that he was wronged because of them, stressing that he went to them because the audience loves them.

He said, “I used to sing very good and ordinary songs, and I had a respectable band. I and the whole band used to take 2000 or 3000 pounds, and I met festivals riding purely on my color, so I want to eat a living, so I must go to this railway.”
