American mother of four Heidi Russell from Colorado won a million dollars in a lottery for those vaccinated against the Corona virus in the United States.

After announcing her victory, she said that she intends to spend this money on her children, especially to fund the education of one of her daughters at university.

Five prizes of $1 million each were offered in the Colorado lottery.

The lottery included those who received at least one dose of the Corona vaccine in an attempt to urge the population to be vaccinated.

Among the prizes were $50,000 scholarships for teens aged 12-17.

Despite this, statistics indicate that the lottery did not contribute much to the vaccination campaign, as about 501,000 doses were given between May 26 and June 26, which is 43% less than the number of doses given in the month prior to the lottery.
