Media: Barcelona opens the door for Griezmann to leave this summer

Spanish media reports indicated that Barcelona wanted to sell its French player, Antoine Griezmann, during the summer transfer period, before the start of the new season 2022/2021.

And the famous Spanish program, “El Chiringuito”, revealed that Barcelona will agree in the coming hours with Griezmann to sell him during the current summer transfer period, and put offers in front of him in order to choose the appropriate ones.

Barcelona is experiencing a major financial crisis, and wants to reduce the value of the high salaries it pays to its players, in order to end the file to renew the contract of Argentine star Lionel Messi.

In addition to the inclusion of two players in the front line for free in the past weeks, namely Aguero and Depay.

Barcelona signed Griezmann, in the summer of 2019, in return for paying his penalty clause of 120 million euros, and his contract expires in June 2024. This is the first title that Griezmann won with Barcelona in two seasons.
