Tunisian player Anas Jaber, ranked 24th in the world, qualified, today, Monday, to the quarter-finals of the “Wimbledon” tennis tournament.
Anas Jaber beat Poland’s Iga Chiantek, ranked ninth in the world, in two sets, after one hour and 41 minutes of play.

Tunisian Anas Jaber overturned her delay against Poland’s Iga Swatic, in the Wimbledon Tennis Championship final, to win 5-7, 6-1, 6-1, to reach the quarter-finals in a historic Arab achievement.

In the quarter-finals, Anas Jaber will face Belarusian Arina Sabalenka, who defeated Elena Rybakina, in two sets to one.
The Tunisian player had qualified for the final price after beating the 12th-ranked in the world, Spain’s Garbine Muguruza, in two groups for one after two hours and 25 minutes of play.
During the match that was held on Friday, Anas Jaber lost the first set to Muguruza, 5-7, before returning strongly and winning the second and third sets, respectively, 6-3 and 6-2.
