Turkey expels an Israeli who wiped his nose with its local currency

The Turkish authorities arrested an Israeli citizen, after he appeared, in a video clip, inside an Istanbul restaurant wiping his nose with Turkish currency, according to Turkish and Israeli media.

The official Israeli channel “Kan” said that the Israeli of the 48th Palestinian, Muhammad Nader Baderna, shared on social media a video from a restaurant in the Besiktas area of Istanbul wiping his nose with a 20-lira note while paying the bill.

The teams of the Beyoglu District Police Department launched an investigation into the incident, and were able to arrest the suspect at the hotel where he was staying in Besiktas, and an arrest warrant was issued for him for “insulting one of the signs of state sovereignty.”

After completing the procedures at the police station, it is scheduled to hand over the suspect to the deportation center of the District Immigration Department for deportation to Israel.
