Andrei Stenin 2021 Photography Contest Opens Voting for Internet Users

The organizers of the Andrei Stenin 2021 World Photography Contest have announced the opening of online voting for those wishing to choose their favorite works to participate in the competition.

According to the information available, as of July 1, Internet users can vote to choose the best work they like from among the works included in the short list of the Andrei Stenin 2021 International Photography Competition, through the competition’s websites in Russian or in English.

To participate in the vote, an Internet user must have an account on one of the social networks VKontakte, “Facebook”, “Twitter” or an account on the Chinese network Weibo.

Voting will remain open until 23:59 this July, and the result of the voting will be announced early next August.

On the subject, Oksana Oleinik, the contest curator and head of the visual projects service of the media group “Russia Segodnya”, said: “Online voting, which has become a good tradition for the competition, is not only a kind of making people a jury to evaluate the works participating in the competition, the Internet users who participate in the vote They have the taste of true photography connoisseurs, they want to know and understand the modern world of photography, and we are glad that the work of our winners is helping them with that.”

It is assumed that the grand prize winner of the competition and the rest of the other prizes will be announced next September, and through the competition websites in Russian or in English.

The Andrei Stenin International Photojournalism Contest, organized by the Rossiya Segodnya International News Agency and under the auspices of the Russian Committee for UNESCO Affairs, aims to support young photographers and draw the public’s attention to the tasks of modern photojournalism.
