Russian Samsonova wins her first title and wins the Berlin Tennis Championships

Rising Russian Lyudmila Samsonova won the first title of her professional career by winning the Berlin German Tennis Championship on Sunday, at the expense of Swiss Belinda Bencic.

The 23-year-old Russian was able to settle the final match for her benefit in two sets to one, by: 1-6, 6-1, 6-3 in one hour and 37 minutes.

This title is the first for Samsonova during her professional career in the singles category.
