A young Algerian swimmer dies of a heart attack during training

The Algerian sports community was appalled yesterday, Saturday, by the death of the young Algerian swimmer, Manal Haboub, at the age of 17, after she suffered a heart attack during a training session.

The “Ittihad Algiers” club mourned the late young woman who was playing in its ranks.

The Algerian Ministry of Youth and Sports also mourned Haboub through the ministry’s account on social media.

According to the Algerian newspaper An-Nahar, Haboub was also preparing for the secondary school exams (baccalaureate) on Sunday.
