With tears… touching words for Ramos during his honoring ceremony

Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos shed tears during his speech on the occasion of his farewell party to the Royal Club.

Ramos did not talk about his next destination, and stressed that that moment is the most difficult in his life, as he burst into tears, noting that he came to the club as a child and now he has a wonderful family.

He added: “It is time to say goodbye to Real Madrid after these long years… Real Madrid will always be in my heart, and one day I will certainly return to the club.”

For his part, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez said during the farewell party for captain Sergio Ramos that the club’s doors will always remain open for Ramos.

He continued: “I thank you, Ramos, for everything you did for Real Madrid throughout your career with the team,” adding: “You must know that this place will always be open to you. I will not forget that you are the tenth man. We thank you for contributing to the legend of Real Madrid.”

On Wednesday, Real Madrid announced the departure of captain Sergio Ramos after a long period with the team and great achievements that are difficult to repeat.

The announcement of Ramos’ departure comes after the end of his contract with Real Madrid, and the two parties did not reach an agreement to renew the contract between them.
