Russia achieves its first victory in “Euro 2020”.

The Russian national team achieved its first victory in the European Nations Championship, by defeating the Finnish team 1-0 in the group stage matches.

The Russian team’s goal was scored by Alexei Miranchuk in the second minute of stoppage time in the first half, with a perfect left-footed shot from inside the penalty area.

Russia got three points to climb to third place in Group B, behind on goal difference from Finland, who beat Denmark in their first match with a goal free of charge.

The second match in the second round of the group between Belgium and Denmark will be held on Thursday at 19:00 Moscow and Mecca time.
