Rob Riggle accuses ex-wife of spying

Rob Riggle claims his estranged wife has been spying on him.

The ‘Hangover’ actor has obtained a temporary restraining order against Tiffany Riggle – who filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, last year – after accusing her of stealing his cash, hacking his online accounts and installing hidden cameras in his home.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Rob claimed $28,000 in emergency money went missing from his home office and he began to feel as if he was being watched shortly after he moved into a smaller abode owned by the former couple.

He confronted Tiffany – who had stayed in the marital home with their two children, Abigail, 17, and 13-year-old George, – because she had access to the property but she denied knowing anything about it.

The 51-year-old star also alleged that, around the same time, Tiffany hacked into his Apple account and downloaded his emails, photos, texts and contacts, and things then grew more sinister as he noticed his estranged wife somehow had knowledge of private conversations he’d had in his home office either with or about his girlfriend and assistant.

He claimed Tiffany or other anonymous sources would text or email his partner and assistant, making reference to the private information, and so Rob and his girlfriend began to plant false information to test whether any of it leaked out, which it did.

The former ‘Saturday Night Live’ star had his house swept for devices in April and claimed a hidden spy camera was found in his smoke detector, which contained a memory card with over 10,000 videos on it.

He believed it was installed in August 2020 and had possibly been monitoring him until it was found and even claimed one piece of footage found on the device was Tiffany standing on a ladder installing the camera, while another showed her counting money on the floor of his office.

As well as the court granting the temporary restraining order, they have also set a date for another hearing in July, in which Rob’s request for a forensic expert to go through the footage will be considered.
