A Russian supervisory authority clarifies who should not receive a second dose of the vaccine against the Corona virus
Experts of the Russian Consumer Rights Supervisory Authority explained when a citizen should not receive a second dose of the vaccine against the Corona virus.
They said that the second dose of the vaccine is not injected if a person who was vaccinated with a first dose was unable to protect himself from infection with the Corona virus.
A spokesman for the authority said that the second dose in this case is not injected.
The spokesman recalled that vaccinating a larger number of the population helps in forming herd immunity.
Specialists in the authority believe that summer is the best season to receive the vaccine so that people are completely protected by the fall, when the percentage of people infected with respiratory diseases, influenza and other infectious diseases that spread from one person to another through droplets.
However, the Russian authority also reminded the citizens that those who suffer from allergies should inform the doctor about this before vaccination, in order to advise him which type of vaccine it is advisable to receive.
It is noteworthy that Russian scientists had registered 4 types of vaccines, which are “Sputnik v”, “Sputnik-Lite”, “Apiwak Corona” and “Covewak”.
