The Swiss team is disappointed after its draw with Wales in “Euro 2020”

Swiss striker Brielle Embolo said Swiss footballers were disappointed after their draw with Wales in the group stage of the European Championship.

The first group match between Switzerland and Wales, which was held in Baku, today, Saturday, ended with a score of 1-1.
Embolo opened the scoring in the 49th minute and was named player of the match.

“I, like the rest of the team, am a bit disappointed with the result,” Empolo told reporters. “We had good chances, we could have scored more and won. But we didn’t take chances, but in the end it was a draw, which is a shame.”

He concluded: “We have to think about the positive aspects of our game, rest and focus on the next game.”

With this tie, Switzerland ranked third in Group A, equal on points with Wales, behind leaders Italy, after defeating Turkey by three clean goals.
