Trump was mocked after speculation that he wore backwards pants during his speech in North Carolina

Former US President Donald Trump has turned to a fertile material of jokes on Twitter after some viewers claimed he wore his pants  backwards his speech at the North Carolina Republican State Convention.

On Saturday, Trump delivered his first official public address since the Conservative Political Action Conference in February at the Greenville Convention Center in North Carolina.

He spent much of his lengthy rhetoric criticizing President Joe Biden’s handling of the border crisis, the economy and foreign policy, and reiterating his claim that widespread voter fraud caused his defeat in the 2020 election.

Viewers took to Twitter on Sunday morning to mock Trump after he documented a video clip of him wearing backwards pants during the speech.

The hashtag #TrumpPants spread on Twitter, with thousands of users sharing memes and jokes making fun of his pants.

But the fact-checking website “Snopes” cut doubt with certainty, and confirmed that Trump did not wear his pants inbackwards, after he noticed the zipper of his pants in the front in the pictures on the Getty Images Agency, according to the American magazine “Newsweek”.
Social media platforms banned Trump from using Facebook or Instagram for two years, even after the 2022 US midterm elections.

Facebook suspended Trump’s accounts after the events of January 6 and the storming of the US Capitol by his supporters, while he was holding meetings to approve the results of the presidential election that Democrat Joe Biden won.
