The Brazilian Football Confederation announced the suspension of its president, Rogerio Capuloco, and the opening of urgent investigations against him, due to his accusation of sexual and psychological harassment of a female employee of the federation.

The Brazilian newspaper, “The Rio Times”, stated that this decision comes at a time when Brazil is preparing to host the “Copa America”.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Brazilian Football Confederation decided to suspend Kabloko after informing the employee of the federation that the president of the federation had sexually and psychologically harassed her, and had pressured her greatly since last April.

She explained that this happened during business trips and meetings, and it happened in front of other people, which prompted the federation to stop it and investigate the person responsible for the incident.

Antonio Carlos Nunes, Vice-President of the Federation, will take over the temporary administration of the Federation.

Brazil is scheduled to host the Copa America, starting on June 14.
