The South Korean company, LG, has officially announced that it will stop producing smartphones starting in June.

The South Korean company explained that it decided to work on the production of smart phones during the past two months, since its previous announcement, to fulfill the contracts with it, according to the specialized technical website Engadget.
Under this decision, “LG” will turn one of its factories in Vietnam to manufacture home appliances, rather than making smart phones.

And LG resorted to this decision, after years of losing money in this division, to put an end to its business in the world of smartphones permanently at the end of July.

LG continues to sell its stock of smartphones, even after this date, but it will not produce any new smartphones anymore. The South Korean company will also provide after-sales services for the next 4 years, and Android updates for its devices up to 3 years. to come.
