A Palestinian youth was killed, today, Friday, during clashes that erupted with Israeli forces in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.
Palestinian media indicated that the victim was Zakaria Hamayel (28 years), while medical sources indicated that the Israeli army fired live and metal-coated bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas towards the participants in a march condemning settlement in the town of Beita.

The Palestinian agency “Safa” reported that, after Friday prayers, hundreds of citizens organized a peaceful march rejecting the Israeli settlement in Jabal Sabih in the town of Beita, and headed towards the outpost built on the mountain.

Earlier, Israeli bulldozers closed the road leading to the waste dump near the town of Beita with dirt mounds.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli settlers began, about a month ago, to establish a settlement outpost on Jabal Subaih, affiliated to the towns of Beita, Qabalan, and Yatma.
