The specialized technical site “Engadget” indicated that Instagram has officially decided to introduce the technique of hiding likes for all its users, after testing it for nearly two years.
Instagram has made this technology optional for users, as it can be activated or deactivated from the settings for each account.
The Instagram platform has set a number of options for users, such as hiding the number of likes for your posts or hiding the likes of other users’ posts.
Although the feature to hide the number of likes is activated, you can see the statistics of your posts in full, when you click on them from within the account settings.
The Instagram update in which this technology is available will be available on the application versions for smartphones or on the desktop version.
