An American wins $ 515 million in the lottery

A Pennsylvania citizen won the Friday night lottery jackpot of $ 515 million.

The winning numbers were 6-9-17-18-48, with the gold number 8.

The person will get $ 348.6 million in cash, after tax, from the grand prize.

It is reported by US media as the biggest prize in Pennsylvania since becoming a participant in Mega Millions in 2010 and the ninth biggest prize awarded since the game began in 2002, with odds of winning 1 prize out of 303 million cards.

This is the third major prize in 2021, after the $ 1.050 billion prize pool collected by a group of players in Michigan on January 22 and the $ 96 million prize that was won by a couple from New York on February 16.

Mega Millions said it was one of 53 tickets matching four numbers plus a Mega Ball to win no less than $ 10 million across the state.
