Biden: There is no peace until the Middle East recognizes Israel’s right to exist

US President Joe Biden has stated that there will be no peace in the Middle East until the region recognizes Israel’s right to exist.

Biden stressed during a press conference on Friday that there has been no change in his commitment to support Israel, and that the Democratic Party continues to support it.

Biden considered that the two-state solution is the only way to settle the conflict between the Palestinians and Israel.
He said he was “praying” for the enduring truce between Israel and the “Hamas” movement in Gaza.

He added that he is seeking to allocate an aid package for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

It is noteworthy that Israel and the “Hamas” movement agreed to a cease-fire, mediated by Egypt, as of Friday dawn, after 11 days of military confrontations that killed about 250 Palestinians and at least 13 people in Israel.
