The Malaysian police said today, Tuesday, May 18, that they have detected threats and plans being prepared by the Israeli intelligence services to assassinate Palestinian leaders and figures on their lands.
The Malaysian police said in statements carried by the Turkish “Anatolia” news agency, that it is currently taking all necessary measures to protect Palestinian leaders and personalities on its lands.
The Turkish agency quoted the official in the Malaysian Police Service, Akril Sani Abdullah Sani, as saying that we take these threats spread over the Internet against the Palestinian leaders very seriously, and we will take all necessary security measures in this regard.
Sani indicated that the Malaysian police are closely following all developments related to the matter, calling on the people of his country to remain calm and indifferent to false news.
He pointed out that the Malaysian Cyber Defense Operations Center confirmed that the Israeli intelligence service is preparing to carry out operations against Palestinian leaders and figures in the countries of the world, especially Malaysia.
The claims of the mentioned Malaysian center have received wide interaction on social media platforms.
In April 2018, the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, witnessed the assassination of Fadi Al-Batsh, the Palestinian engineer specialized in the development of unmanned aircraft.
After the assassination of Al-Batsh, the finger of blame was directed at Israel and its intelligence services.
