Today, Sunday, the Israeli health authorities reported that at least two people were killed and dozens of injuries were recorded, following the collapse of a grandstand inside a synagogue in the Givat Ze’ev settlement, west of Jerusalem.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that “10 out of 60 injured in the collapse in the synagogue are in a very critical condition,” pointing out that “the Israeli army intervenes with the help of the planes in a large rescue operation in the place.”

Israeli tweets have circulated videos showing a large number of ambulances as they are evacuating the injured and taking them to hospitals.

And a similar stampede last April resulted in killing 45 people and wounding more than 150 others.
