China announces its success by landing a spacecraft on Mars

A Chinese unmanned spacecraft successfully landed on the surface of Mars on Saturday, the Xinhua News Agency reported.

The Tianwen-1 spacecraft is the first independent Chinese mission to Mars. Landing a spacecraft on Mars is a very difficult process.
