“Vampires” in Dracula’s mansion give doses of the Corona vaccine

Medics have launched a center for vaccination against Covid-19 in Dracula’s Palace, which is located in the Transylvania region in Romania, as it is likely that tourists will come to the palace to receive the Corona vaccine.

According to a propaganda poster, doctors and nurses drawing the shape of vampire fangs are offering free doses of the vaccine produced by Pfizer to all visitors to the palace, also known as Bran Palace.

The palace dates back to the 14th century and is believed to be the inspiration for the vampire house in Bram Stoker’s novel “Dracula”.

Palace employees hope that this service will bring more visitors to the palace, which is located in the Carpathian Mountains in Romania, where the number of tourists has decreased since the beginning of the epidemic.

Anyone can attend every weekend this May without an earlier date, and are granted free entry to the palace exhibition of 52 medieval torture tools.

“The idea is to show how people were pricked 500 to 600 years ago in Europe,” said Alexandru Brisco, director of marketing for the palace.

The government has said it wants to vaccinate 10 million people by September, but a survey released by the Bratislava-based Globesic Research Center in April showed Romanians are the least likely to be vaccinated among residents of eastern European Union countries.
