Sputnik correspondent in the Gaza Strip reported that the Israeli army tanks bombed a number of sites belonging to the armed Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip.
Gaza – Sputnik. The Sputnik correspondent said, “The Israeli army tanks launched several missiles at monitoring observatories of the armed Palestinian factions in the Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoun areas in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as east of Rafah, in the far south of the Strip.”
Until now, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has not reported any Palestinian casualties as a result of the Israeli missile strikes on the Strip.
The Israeli army spokesman said, “The Israeli army tanks bombed a number of military sites of the Hamas organization in the Gaza Strip, in response to the launching of incendiary and explosive balloons in recent days and the launching of rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory earlier in the night.”
Earlier this night, the Israeli army spokesman said that two rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip towards Israel, with one of them being intercepted by the Iron Dome.
The Gaza Strip is witnessing a security escalation in recent times, due to the current events in the city of Jerusalem, especially in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
