A Palestinian child was killed by Israeli army bullets

A 16-year-old Palestinian child was killed and another was wounded, this evening, Wednesday, during clashes with the Israeli army forces in the West Bank.

The website “Sama” reported this evening, Wednesday, that a Palestinian child was killed and another wounded during clashes with the Israeli army, which broke out in the village of Odla, south of Nablus.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that its crews received the dead body from the Israeli army, and transferred a live bullet wound to a young man, to Rafidia Governmental Hospital in Nablus.

Clashes erupted with the Israeli forces, who stormed the town, amid heavy gunfire and tear gas. It also raided several shops and homes and seized camera recording equipment from them.

Israeli and Palestinian officials said that a Palestinian woman was killed and two Israelis were seriously injured in two separate shooting incidents in the occupied West Bank, last Sunday.

The West Bank and Jerusalem are witnessing an escalation of tension during the month of Ramadan, which culminated in days-long clashes near the Old City of Jerusalem between Palestinians and the Israeli police, which prevented them from entering a square in the town, which is a popular gathering place during Ramadan nights.

The Israeli army said it would “send additional forces to the West Bank after assessing the situation.”
