A British aircraft carrier transports US stealth fighters supported by submarines to China’s “doorstep”

Media sources uncovered a British move, described as the first of its kind, aimed at sending the first attack aircraft carrier to what was described as the “threshold” area of ​​China.

According to the sources, the first attack group consisting of the British aircraft carrier “HMS Queen Elizabeth” will go along with attack submarines, destroyers and a group of other supporting ships.
The convoy will carry out operations in the Indian Ocean and the Asia-Pacific region, which will be led by the British warship “Elizabeth Class”, in an area described as “China’s doorstep.”

According to the magazine “Military Watch” specialized in news of arms and equipment, the British aircraft carrier carries a fleet of the most expensive combat aircraft in the world, the American “F-35B”, as it was planned to deploy about 48 fighters on British aircraft carriers of this class, but the decline The speed of delivery provided the ability to equip only one British aircraft carrier with a fleet of these fighters.

The source pointed out that the fighters to be carried by the British aircraft carrier are coming from the attack squadron in the US Navy, “Wake Island Avengers”, where the ship has 10 American “F-35S” fighters with eight British fighters on its deck.

“We have never seen a ship with 18 F-35s out there that will cross half the world as we will. It’s a very bold act,” said the officer of the US Navy’s attack squadron, Lt. Col. Andrew Dambrugy.

The officer noted that the available space on the British aircraft carrier, will provide the ability to fully test the new fighter squadron, in addition to collecting data, comments and observations about the work of the fighters in order to improve them.

The officer considered that this squadron is “the largest fifth-generation air wing in the world.”

And the American lieutenant colonel indicated that this process is a training process for the work team in an isolated space that will contribute to raising the efficiency of the team, as it is then possible to estimate the number of workers required to serve the work of these fighters on the American aircraft carrier.
