Britney Spears will address a court about her long-running battle with her father.
Jamie Spears has been conservator or guardian of the pop singer’s affairs since 2008.
It has not been confirmed which issues Spears, 39, wants to raise during her appearance, but Judge Brenda Penny set a status hearing for 23 June.
It is not clear if she will appear via video or in person at Los Angeles Superior Court.
The singer has previously spoken about the court-ordered conservatorship only through her lawyer Samuel Ingham.
Mr Ingham has said Spears is “afraid” of her father and will not perform again while he retains control of her finances.
The conservatorship allows Mr Spears to control his daughter’s estate alongside a wealth management company, despite her requests for him to be removed from the role.
Mr Spears, 68, had also overseen his daughter’s personal affairs but stepped down from that role in September 2019 due to health reasons.
Jodi Montgomery, a care worker, replaced him temporarily.
Meanwhile, Lynne Spears, Britney’s mother, has objected to fees claimed by Mr Spears’ legal team totalling around $890,000 (£640,000) over four months.
Her lawyers said the costs were “procedurally improper” and any that were unnecessary should be reimbursed to the singer’s estate.
But Mr Spears said the costs were justified and Mrs Spears, who he divorced in 2002, was “not acting in the best interests” of their daughter.
His legal team said: “She has not been involved in her daughter’s conservatorship until very recently, and she is now raising objections to fees related to matters that she has no knowledge of.
“In doing so, she is causing undue delay and expense in the administration of the conservatorship, and ironically, stirring up more unnecessary media attention.
“While the conservator and his counsel have been very cautious, limited, and thoughtful in dealing with the media (a far cry from any ‘national media tour’), Lynne Spears is the one who exploited her daughter’s pain and trauma for personal profit by publishing a book about the conservatee.”
