The film “The Father” wins a number of Academy Awards in its 93rd edition

The film “The Father” won a number of awards during the new edition of the Oscars, due to its distinction in terms of text and performance, during the 93rd Academy Awards.

This was reported by the Egyptian newspaper, Al-Watan, today, Monday, noting that the film won the award for best adapted screenplay, while work hero Anthony Hopkins won the best actor award for the same work.

This is not the first time that “The Father” has won an award, as it has already won 26 awards and nominated for 131 nominations in a number of different awards.

Among the international festivals in which the film participated, the Toronto Festival in Canada, the Sundance Film Festival, San Sebastian and the Cairo International Film Festival, which dealt with a story inspired by the play of the author Florian Zeller, and the author Christopher Hampton transformed it into a film, and is the first directing work of Florian Zeller, as a director and author together.

The newspaper pointed out that this film is a joint production between the United Kingdom and France and has participated in the starring of a large number of stars, including Anthony Hopkins, Olivia Coleman, Mark Gates and others.
