43

Many people resort to paracetamol because it is analgesic and antipyretic, and it also has many other medicinal uses.

These people are unaware that the use of paracetamol in certain health conditions is harmful and fraught with serious health consequences, according to a report published by the medical site “Medic Forum”.
Russian doctor Alexander Miasnikov confirmed that if a person suffers from a hangover, he should not take paracetamol, because the combination of this drug and alcohol in the body harms the liver and causes more pressure on it, and this can lead to serious and toxic damage.

The doctor added that this medicine is generally not friendly to the liver and is not suitable for it, and there are a number of medical conditions when one of them is infected with paracetamol, and they include the following:

Infectious hepatitis infection.

Cirrhosis, regardless of the causative factors.

Infection with steatohepatitis.

On the other hand, healthy people also need to use this drug carefully and cautiously, as paracetamol may be dangerous to health if the instructions for its dosage are neglected, as the doctor confirmed that no more than three grams per day, equivalent to 3000 mg, can be taken.

The doctor also indicated that paracetamol is part of the powder preparations used in the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases, people often do not take this into account, so it should not be taken too much, but rather eat it carefully and cautiously.
