The Shanghai International Auto Show witnessed demonstrations in the US auto division, “Tesla”, to protest problems with its cars.
Activists on the media circulated a video clip of a woman climbing a “Tesla” car, claiming that her car’s brakes are bad.
The exhibition security intervened to remove the woman, while the Shanghai police imprisoned the woman for five days, on charges of disturbing public order.
And the company “Tesla” announced that it would start developing some of its cars in China from scratch, and revealed that it would launch new models, according to what was published by “CNN”.
Grace Tao Lin, the company’s vice president of foreign affairs for the company in China, said that during the car design process Tesla will use research on Chinese consumers, and the cars will also be sold worldwide.
