Russia has begun work on a new flying car.
The prospective flying car was called a “Tsiklukar”. A media official at the Promising Research Fund, which manages the Tsiklukar project, told Sputnik that the “Tsiklukar” is scheduled to be launched in 2022.
He pointed out that the “Tsiklukar” car is designed to transport six people or weighing 600 kilograms, and it is equipped with an electric motor. It will be 6.2 meters long and 6 meters wide. It has a top speed of 250 kilometers per hour. And it can fly for a distance of 500 kilometers, that is, it can reach the city of Nizhny Novgorod, for example, or Voronezh by air from Moscow.
One of the advantages of “Tsiklukar” is that it is able to land on an inclined surface of up to 30 degrees and adhere to vertical surfaces, which distinguishes it from the helicopter.
Driving a flying car will not be more difficult than driving a modern car. It can be driven either by seated in the cab or remotely.
