German Bibiana Steinhaus, the first woman to run a match in a major domestic men’s tournament, married English referee Howard Webb, who managed the 2010 World Cup final.

Press reports revealed that the German wisdom, Bibiana Steinhaus, married her friend, the English referee, Howard Webb.

“We are very happy,” said Steinhaus, who became called Steinhaus-Webb after they married last month, in an interview with the German website Sport1.

Bibiana became the first woman to run a match in the Bundesliga, in 2017, to retire at the age of 42, after leading 23 matches in the Bundesliga.

However, it is still working on video assistant referee technology in the domestic league, according to what was reported by the “Deutsche Welle” website.

Webb is considered one of the most famous European referees after managing matches in the English Premier League between 2003 and 2014.
