He never became the chief of a police station in Japan’s Toyama Prefecture because he helped save a person.

A man fell into a drainage pit in the neighborhood, last year, and the cat Coco sat on the ledge and started staring at the water: they watched – and then they saw the man.

Coco got a police suit and a hat. The cat was also able to handle documents and put a personal stamp on papers. The next day, Coco was fired.
