Spanish media were interested in publishing the first official response to Barcelona’s objection to El Clasico’s arbitration decisions, which caused him to lose to Real Madrid by two goals to one goal.

The Spanish sports site AS stated that the Spanish Referees Committee officially responded to Barcelona’s objection not to award a penalty kick in his favor in El Clasico.
At its end, the match witnessed a state of rage from Barcelona players and the technical staff of the team, led by the Dutch Ronald Koeman, against the referee of the match, Khail Manzano, claiming that a correct Barca penalty kick was overlooked at the end of the match.

The shot shows the Danish striker of Barca, Martin Braithwaite, falling inside the penalty area, after interfering with the Real defender, the Frenchman Wieland Mendy, but El Clasico’s referee, Khail Manzano, refused to count it and indicated that the play would be completed.

The Spanish Referees Committee said that the match referee, Gil Manzano, indicated in his report about the match that the game was normal from his point of view and his refereeing vision and did not deserve to be a penalty kick.

It was for this reason that he indicated that he would continue playing normally.

The referees committee of the Spanish Football Federation added: “The committee fully supports the referee in his decisions, and did not consider that the game is in dispute, deserving of a penalty kick.”

“The referee took the right decision,” she said. “The duel does not amount to a penalty kick.”
