A nutritionist, who explains the effect of snacks on blood sugar

Nutritionist and endocrinologist, Olga Pavlova, declared that there are several causes of high blood sugar, among them frequent snacking and an inappropriate diet.

According to what was posted on the Ria Fan website on Thursday, Pavlova said, “People do not choose their diet carefully.”

The specialist explained: “For example, in the collective consciousness there is a belief that milk and milk contain only protein, but these products also contain milk sugar – lactose.”

Pavlova drew attention to the fact that frequent snacks, which are not often complete without grains or dried fruit pieces, lead to a sharp increase in blood sugar.

The expert explained that, to return the indications to normal, one should not forget about physical activity, and great care must be taken when consuming drugs, nutritional supplements and alcohol.

Earlier, endocrinologist and psychotherapist Mikhail Bogomolov identified useful products for people with diabetes among them: pink salmon, avocado, white cabbage.
