The owner of the longest nails in the world (an American woman) got rid of them over the weekend, who had been with her for 30 years.
Ayanna Williams, from Houston, USA, broke the “Guinness” record for the longest fingernails in the world in 2017, when it reached a length of about 19 feet, and was wasting more than two bottles of nail polish and 20 hours to beautify it, according to the network, “CNN” America .
But before Williams got rid of her extremely long nails, she set a new record, 24 feet 0.7 inches.
In a dermatology office in Fort Worth, Texas, Ayanna Williams cut her nails using an electric rotating tool.
“With or without my nails, I will still be the Queen,” the Guinness Book of Records quoted Williams as saying. “My nails do not make me, I make my own.”
Williams said she plans to grow her nails to only 6 inches, while the long nails she discarded will be exhibited at a museum in Orlando, Florida.

And Ayanna Williams decided to get rid of her nails after she was unable to do some activities, such as washing dishes and putting sheets on the bed.
She also indicated that she is currently seeking to encourage the owner of the longest nails after her to make history and enter the “Guinness Book” of Records.
Lee Redmond is still the owner of the longest nails in the world, who began lengthening them since 1979, reaching 28 feet, but lost them in a car accident in 2009.
