The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of Moscow Province announced that scientists of the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences have created a unique tissue for wound dressing.
“This” synthetic skin “tissue protects the site of injury from external mechanical influences and pathological infection, and creates ideal conditions for cell growth, and allows air and water vapor to penetrate, which prevents the wound from drying and wet.”
The statement confirms that this tissue is a thin membrane that is placed on the site of the wound, as its cells move into the wound to mix with the cells of the injured body and activate the collagen production process to accelerate wound healing and the formation of the scar.
He notes that, in addition to the treatment, this membrane protects the wound from external influences and eliminates the need for traditional dressings, thanks to the natural elastic bond (Latex).
