Before the St. Germain match … Bayern Munich announces that Gnabry has been infected with the Corona virus

Bayern Munich announced that its player Sergei Gnabry had been infected with the Corona virus, before the upcoming confrontation with Paris Saint-Germain, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, tomorrow, Wednesday.

The Bavarian giant said, in an official statement, that “the German wing’s infection with the Corona virus will lead to its exclusion from the team’s list for tomorrow’s match.”

Bayern referred to “the stability of the German international, who immediately entered health isolation at his home.”

This comes after coach Hans Flick indicated that Gnabry did not participate in the last training session, due to his sore throat.

On the 30th of March, Bayern Munich announced the injury of its striker Robert Lewandowski and his 4-week absence from the team.

This made it clear that Lewandowski was unable to participate in the two matches between Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals of the Champions League on April 7 and 13, which is considered a painful blow to the world champion.
