To compete with “Tik Tok” … “Instagram” is officially introducing a new feature

The site “Instagram” announced the launch of a new feature to record videos combined with existing clips of other users, simulating the feature of the famous Chinese application “Tik Tok”.

According to the “techcrunch” news site, the new “Rails Remix” feature “allows users to create remixed content from Rails video, which means that users can upload a video in addition to another user’s video, which results in a new clip.”

“Instagram” explained through a video clip how to use the new feature, as all you have to do to re-merge a clip is to go to the person you want to re-merge with, and click on the menu button (3 points).

You can also record your own video or upload pre-recorded clips or clips.

The volume control option is also available in the new feature, where the user can also control its original or recorded level, add voiceover, along with other editing functions.

The Facebook-owned network launched the “Rails” short video feature in August 2020, which allows recording short clips of up to 15 seconds long.
