Italy records 529 deaths and 16,017 new cases of Corona

The Ministry of Health in Italy announced that it had recorded 529 deaths from the Coronavirus on Tuesday, up from 417 yesterday, while the daily number of new infections increased to 16,017 from 12,916.

Italy has recorded 108,879 deaths linked to the disease, Covid-19 since its appearance in February of last year.

Italy is the highest toll in Europe after Britain and the seventh highest in the world.

The total number of infections so far has reached 3.56 million.
