Three sources familiar with the matter said on Saturday that the efforts to re-float the delinquent giant container ship in the Suez Canal will resume at around 14:30 local time (12:30 GMT) in an attempt to take advantage of the high tide.
The sources added that if this attempt was not successful, there will be another attempt on Sunday morning. She said it would be necessary to remove more sand around the ship in order to re-float it.
