80 deaths per hour… America’s No. 1 women’s killer

Its symptoms appear in women more often at rest, or even during sleep, than men, and stress can play a role in provoking this killer.

Talk about America’s number one femicide; Heart disease, which is a major risk for women, as it is responsible for 49% of deaths among females in the United States – for example – or an average of 400,000 women every year, 80 deaths per hour, according to the Cleveland Clinic website.

According to the “Mayo Clinic”, women often come to emergency rooms after heart damage, because they do not always acknowledge the symptoms of a heart attack, and also because their symptoms are often different from men, so women may be diagnosed with heart disease less often than men.

Pain or pressure in the chest is a common symptom of a heart attack for anyone, male or female. Thus the pain spreads down the shoulder and arm.But sometimes, these classic symptoms do not appear in women as they do in men, so women should pay special attention to other symptoms, such as severe nausea, sweating, shortness of breath, unusual dizziness or fatigue.
