The first hypothetical home on Mars sold even though humans have not yet stepped foot on Mars.

The British newspaper “Daily Mail” reported that the hypothetical house called “Mars House”, in the form of a house in the world, has been sold for more than 500 thousand dollars.

Designer “Kirsten Kim” said she sent the virtual structure as a 3D file to Jupiter, noting that she designed it during the coronavirus pandemic “to create a healing atmosphere using her digital philosophy.”

“I wanted this space to show my passion and love for Contemplative Design, a new definition of progressive luxury in the digital age,” she added.

The virtual home comes outfitted with glass and fabric furniture and includes a dining, sitting and sleeping area, along with an infinity pool.

The house appears to be located on top of a mountain in the Red Planet, providing residents with stunning views of the Martian landscape.
