Al-Ahram Auto met with a car maintenance expert, Rashid Fawzi, who shed light on the many faults that affect cars as a result of hard work.

In taxis, the front brake pads are usually changed every month, compared to every 3 months in regular private cars.

The cablins in taxis are quickly damaged due to the many turns and congestion, and are often changed every 3 months on average, while the caplan in angel cars will last for up to 6 months.

Likewise, the “katina belt” of the taxi is changed approximately every two months, while the regular angel car does not need to be changed until after it has traveled a distance of 60 thousand kilometers.

According to the Egyptian maintenance expert, there are spare parts in the car that can be serviced in private cars, while they must be changed in the fare, including the radiator and the gearstick.
