The United States Geological Survey announced that a 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck the Kamchatsky Stary region in the Russian Far East.
The authority said, “The quake occurred at a depth of 57 kilometers,” without giving any additional details.
It is noteworthy that the American Authority detected an earthquake last Sunday, measuring 5.9 degrees on the Richter scale in the same region.
