German police seized 16 kilograms of cocaine in an elderly man’s car in the west of the country.
Police announced that a car bearing Swiss license plates on the highway had drawn the attention of investigators in civilian clothes belonging to the police station in Frechen, near Cologne, in the west of the country yesterday.
It stated that the 67-year-old driver claimed to be a representative of a company engaged in export and import.
However, police officers questioned the man’s appearance and contradictory speech, and noticed irregularities in his car.
After a positive test result for drug detection, police officers expected that they are about to import narcotic substances, as they found 16 kilograms of cocaine inside the car trunk, and the police arrested the man.
