France, Germany, Egypt and Jordan praise the national unity government in Libya

On Thursday, the foreign ministers of France, Germany, Egypt and Jordan praised the Libyan parliament’s confidence in a government of national unity that would lead the country towards elections in December.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister said in a joint press conference: “When there is good news, we have to talk about it. The fact that a vote of confidence was held regarding the political process that was launched … This is an important moment.” His counterparts in France, Germany and Jordan praised the step, which would help stabilize Libya.
