Britain will postpone border checks after 6 months of “Brexit”

British Minister David Frost said that his country will enter border checks after Britain’s exit from the European Union on imports after nearly six months of what was originally planned.
“We will now introduce border controls on a large scale six months later than scheduled to give traders time to focus on getting back on their feet again as the economy opens up after a difficult year due to the Coronavirus,” Frost added in a statement.

He continued, “We are confident that this new timetable will allow import companies to re-establish their commercial arrangements after a difficult period due to the Coronavirus, in the simplest way possible.”
